MOUZ and FunPlus Phoenix have been invited to the main tournament, which will hand out a spot in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown.
The organizers of Fantasyexpo Spring Cup have revealed the teams directly invited to the $25,000 main event and to its Polish, French, UK, and DACH regional closed qualifiers, played from March 11-18.
The format of the closed qualifiers will be the same in each region apart from Poland, which will see four teams battling in a double-elimination format, with the winners advancing to the final, where they will play a seeded team (Endpoint in the UK, LDLC in France, and Sprout in DACH).
The Polish qualifier will have eight teams in attendance, who will first play in a GSL group stage for four spots in the playoffs, which will award the winning side a place at the Fantasyexpo Spring Cup.
As the winners of Polish Esport League Autumn, PACT have already booked their spot at the main event alongside the directly invited MOUZ and FunPlus Phoenix. Each of the four regional closed qualifiers will yield one team, with the last coming from an open qualifier.
